Description

Blue Note Records BLP-1598 -The Amazing Bud Powell - Time Waits LP released in 1959. The condition of the record is excellent VG++ almost near mint minus, there is a slight discoloration of the vinyl that is totally inaudible, the record plays perfectly, no scuffs or scratches. The initials RVG are stamped in the dead wax, as is the ear. The address on the labels is Blue Note Records 47 West 63rd NYC. There is a deep groove indentation under the label on side 1 of the record but not on side 2. There is NOT a registered symbol on the label, there is NOT an R under the E in Note on the labels. The laminated cover is still in the original shrink wrap but it is not still sealed. What appears to be ringwear in the scan of the front cover is on the shrink wrap and not on the cover. The cover has writing on the back and therefore the highest I can grade it is VG+ but without the writing it is NM-. All seams and spine are tight and unworn, the cover laminate is crisp and unblemished. The address on the back cover is Blue Note Records, 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. Personnel is Bud Powell, piano; Sam Jones, bass; Philly Joe Jones, drums.
