To many, this is the definitive boxed set of Beethoven's MIDDLE QUARTETS.
The players are the original Budapest String Quartet, who, frankly, were the most popular Quartet ever in the history of recorded classical music. That said, this box isn't at all easy to find, especially in such fine shape.
Box is as crisp as the day it was made, all corners intact. Shiny laminated booklet is very smart; perfect, really. And the four 2-eye gray labels are all ashine. Near mint, perhaps better in playback. (Pristine vinyl.)
Great Beethoven set, from perhaps the finest string quartet, ever, adored by music critics for beautiful tone, perfect integration, impeccable taste, careful phrasing, character and style, and a depth of interpretation that to this day has not been matched.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
