Description

1970s reissue of the classic vinyl album for A Man and the Blues, the second studio album by legendary Chicago blues guitarist and singer Buddy Guy. Released in March 1968 on Vanguard Records, it is considered a landmark recording that bridges the gap between Chicago blues and R&B. The album features a tight backing band including piano virtuoso Otis Spann, rhythm guitarist Wayne Bennett, bassist Jack Myers, drummer Fred Below, and a saxophone trio.
