Description

Hold That Plane! was an album by Buddy Guy that was recorded in November 1969 but not released by Vanguard records until 1972. It was his third studio album for Vanguard and the last for the label for nearly a decade. The album is noted for its diverse material, which included a funky take on Herbie Hancock's "Watermelon Man," covers of Muddy Waters and Willie Cobbs, and a split focus between instrumental jams and vocal tracks.
