Description
Buddy Holly and Waylan Jennings 1958 acetate promo record of "You're The One". Plus this record also has two other unreleased songs with guitar by Buddy and vocals by Waylan of "More and More" and "When You Are Lonely". This is the very record that I loaned to L. O. Holley that he subsequently sold a tape of to Norman Petty -- who in turn sold it to Coral and the rest is history. This disc is obviously undubbed and in original condition albeit 51 years old. About a year ago I had it burned to CD and it still played well enough to make a great copy. This is a very very rare and historical recording of one of Buddy Holly's last recordings before his death not two months later. I sincerely hope that whomever buys this record will give it the home it truly deserves.
