Description
Buddy Holly 45 Decca 9-29854 Blue Days Black Nights and Love Me 1956. I don't own a turntable or attempt to grade records, but a local record shop owner says this record plays well and would likely b considered very good condition. There are some light scratches and scuffs. Please enlarge and review photos carefully. Label on each side is in very good shape. Based on online research (please verify for yourself), this is Buddy Holly's very first official "label" release (non Demo) on DECCA - two of just four songs recorded in Jan 1956 at Owen Bradley's recording studio (an old house in Nashville). In this first session with DECCA, he recorded Blue Days Black Nights, Love Me as well as Don't Come Back Knockin' and Midnight Shift. Very few of these specific 45s seem to be available for sale with some asking prices well into the hundreds of dollars. Great piece of Rockabilly history! Enter a bid or make an offer!
