All international buyers who purchase from the Collectors Barn must be aware of
possible customs duties or fees from the buyer's government and that the customs
can delay international orders. In addition these potential customs delays and the
actual number of transit days are outside Collectors Barn Control. All international
buyers assume the responsibilities of their governments duties or fees from import.
INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE FEES:
International postage fees are rising in cost. Yes there are many other cheaper options
for shipping than the fees we charge or options eBay and Paypal offer. But in order
to abide by their policies we are forced to charge these higher cost in order to remain
under seller protection. Too many buyers are making claims items not received and
without proof of delivery we are stuck with these prices.
COLLECTORS BARN SHIPPING PRACTICES:
We ship out every item within 24 hours of payment received. We are constantly
shipping out 7 Days a Week and Drop Off items at the Post Office on Saturdays and
Sundays. Our local post office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays so tracking will not
show up until Monday. Every item we ship is carefully packed and secure and sometimes
overly packed and secure to protect your item/s from damage.
SHIPPING CHARGES AND COST OF SHIPPING:
We at Collectors Barn do not over charge for shipping and never charge a handling fee. We
do not and will not charge extra to make that extra buck. We feel when we purchase items
we expect the cheapest price for the best service. We constantly see items up for sale by sellers
who charge $14.95 for an item that can easily fit in a USPS Small Flat Rate Priority Box for
$5.00 and 99 out of 100 we pass on their items. If you feel our Shipping Prices are a bit high
or if you would like to discuss any options of shipping with us please contact us before your
purchase so we can be ready to send your item out within our 24 hour policy we uphold.
COMBINING SHIPMENT COSTS ON SEPARATE AUCTIONS WON:
We are glad to combine shipping cost on separate Auctions. 4 out of 5 times the price
of shipping will not increase. Now Please Be Aware when adding items together and
the weight of the items increase we automatically increase the postage cost. We can also
let the buyer know what it will cost prior to making payment after we weigh it and print
out your postal label. Size will also increase postage costs as well. If It doesn't fit in the
flat rate box options then we try regional and every other option. Just remember we are
trying to save you as much money on postage as if we are the buyers ourselves.
