Description

This is the 1962 reissue of "The Chirping Crickets" re-released as Buddy Holly and The Crickets by Coral Records, this is the Gloversville Pressing.  This one is in great condition for its age, and though VG its awfully close and sounds about as good as I've heard a 50s recording sound from the era.  Buddy Holly was an amazing talent, already there are some moves forward on this first album, and when he would die just a year later in 1958, he was setting up orchestration decisions and ideas that wouldn't be seen in pop for another 5-7 years.  It fun to imagine where music might have gone if Buddy had lived all those years.
