Description
I have for sale a large number of Buddy Holly/Buddy Holly & The Crickets albums including first UK and US Pressings and rarities. They have some provenance in that they were all owned by Tony Prince - the former Radio Luxemburg (amongst many other stations) D.J. Please take a look at my other auctions.
This is one of the interesting items that I picked up - its a press pack for the release of Buddy Holly & The Crickets 20 Golden Greats on 17th February 1978 (at that time Tony Prince was Programme Director at Radio Luxemburg) and contains:
A Record "Envelope" in EX condition with just a tear in the small flap and containing as follows:
2 copies of the album itself in their sleeves and inner die-cut sleeves. The albums are in VG+ condition and the sleeves and inner sleeves are NM;
An EMI Records Press Announcement of 2 pages (in Mint condition) from The (Radio and Television) Press Department at MCA Records;
A glossy handout 30 x 21 cms. (in Mint condition) featuring a cutting from the New Musical Express; and
2 gloss finish Black & White photographs 25 x 20 cms. - 1 of Buddy in Portrait and 1 of the band in Landscape (the latter labelled MCA Records).
All albums have been play tested on my Pro-ject Debut III with Ortofon cartridge.

UK - if an item is listed at less than £20, I will send 2nd Class and charge £4.40. This is made up as follows: Royal Mail Postage Charge £3.10, E-Bay/Paypal Charge £0.60, Packaging £0.60
UK - if an item is over £20, I will send 1st Class "Signed For" and charge £6.00 for which the breakdown is as follows: Royal Mail Postage Charge £4.70, E-Bay/Paypal Charge £0.84, Packaging £0.60.
Europe (less than 750g) - if an item is listed at less than £20, I will send International Standard and charge £11.00.
Europe (less than 750g) - if an item is over £20 but less than £50, I will send International Tracked & Signed and charge £15.50.
Europe (less than 750g) - if an item is over £50, I will send International Tracked & Signed and charge £18.00.
If Buying from outside Europe, please ask for a quote for postage and after purchase please wait for an invoice.
