This EP isn't dated.
However, some of the text on the back of the sleeve reads:
Born in Lubbock, Texas, 21 year-old Buddy is the founder,
lead singer and guitarist of the fast-rising young singing group,
"The Crickets."
So, this record is likely from 1957 or '58.
Note: On my turntable, the needle just kept spinning
in the groove at the end of Side 2.
This record is in used condition. The vinyl looks dull, and it has
a few small scuffs and scratches. It plays with many snaps,
crackles, and pops. The paper label on Side 1 has a spot
where the orange color has been torn away. The label on
Side 2 is a bit scratched from a previous owner trying to place
the record on a turntable by feel rather than by sight. The card
board paper sleeve - which is like a miniature album cover -
has a 2" split along the top edge from the outer corner, it is
a little scuffed all over, it has yellowed with age, and it is badly
creased in an upper corner (right if you're looking at the front,
or left from the back).
