All the records come from an extensive PRIVATE collection and were purchased new.

All albums have been stored upright. They were never used in any public facility. Their condition is so good because they were never played outside of the home. The collection, at its peak, was over 5,000 albums (approximately 75 linear feet).

To sort and retrieve records quickly and efficiently, index numbers were applied to some of the jackets. Almost all album jackets have a file number in magic marker on the upper left corner, or elsewhere on the left side of the upper portion. All album jackets are in excellent condition, but show some minor signs of wear from sitting in racks for forty years.

Record Grading
Mint (M): LP is a perfect record, never played with no manufacturing defects. Jacket is in perfect condition.
Near Mint (NM): LP looks like you just brought it back from the store with very tiny defects and no noticeable signs of wear. Jacket has no visible defects or cut holes.
Very Good Plus (VG+): LP was played and handled with great care. LP may have slight scuffs or very light scratch that does not affect listening. The Jacket may have a cut hole (indicates being sold at a discount) and signs of slight wear.
Very Good (VG): LP may have groove wear or light scratches that affect sound. Surface noise may be present. The Label may have writing, tape, sticker or their residue. The Jacket may have a cut hole, writing, tape, sticker or their residue. There will only be two or three of these problems on any one record.
Good Plus (G+): LP may have visible ring or groove wear. Jacket may have any three of the following defects: a cut hole, writing, tape, sticker (or their residue), a split seam or minor damage.
Good (G): LP has visible ring and/or groove wear. Jacket has more than three of the following defects: a cut hole, writing, tape, sticker (or their residue), a split seam or minor damage.
Poor (P): LP is cracked, warped and/or heavily scratched. Jacket is water damaged or split on more than one side and may be heavily marred by writing.
Note:These are visually graded. I have graded LP and their jackets separately. I have not graded inner sleeves.
