VERY RARE original U.S.(sleeve) Canadian (disc) CORAL ( EC 81169 ) Buddy Holly Listen to me EP with the famous 'no glasses' sleeve which was withdrawn shortly after release.The top and bottom edges of sleeve have been repaired very cleanly with clear tape but as you can see from the scans, it is in otherwise very good condition with no rips or tears, as the sleeve is made of much thicker card than UK issues of that time.

This item was tested on a very high quality and sensitive Linn Sondek with a pickup weight of only 1.5 grams.

The tracks Listen to me, Peggy Sue and Every day all play with very slight crackle, and there are some very light visible surface marks.

The track I'm gonna love you too has a small visible scratch which I can barely feel with my finger which caused it to stick towards the end.

A 1960's Dansette or similar , which used to operate with more weight might well play through this.

Notwithstanding the above there are very few copies of this still in existence, in any condition and the sleeve alone is still the 'holy grail' for many serious Buddy Holly collectors.

I am however offering this item with a low start and no reserve.
