This is a vinyl slab of Rock & Roll history!!
ARTIST:  Buddy Holly & The Crickets LABEL / CATALOG #:  Decca / DL 8707 YEAR OF RELEASE:  1958 COUNTRY OF RELEASE:  USA
NOTE: The "◉" printed on the Side B label indicates this was pressed by the Decca Records Pressing Plant, Gloversville, New York.
This record definitely shows its age - and how much it's been loved - but it plays surprisingly clean with only minor surface noise.  Read my grading carefully:

GRADING:  

  • LP:  (VG)  Play-tested and does not skip. Shows noticeable numerous hairlines, and there is light surface noise, but the noise does NOT overpower the music.
  • OUTER SLEEVE:  (G+)  Significant wear, with the top seam almost completely split, and the spine shows "crackling," but all the text on the front and back is visible.
  • INNER SLEEVE:  Generic anti-static sleeve.
