Here it is Buddy Holly fans...the grand daddy of them all!

A copy of Buddy Holly's "That'll Be The Day" on the original black/silver Decca label!! First, let me tell you that I've had this stored for a while (upright in a poly sleeve of course), but it's time to let it go!! Second, allow me to talk price. This album is listed at $1,500!! This copy has surface scratches on it, but it plays right through with little background noise and no skips. I've enjoyed it, now it's your turn!! 

Please. please. please look at all the pictures I've provided to see the cover, labels, song list, inner sleeve, and other info about this very rare find!!!

Cover -- Good++ due to edge, corner, and ring wear. There is a 3" crease across the top of the front. The spine is not split, but only portions of the album info are still there. The top was completely split and repaired halfway with tape. The bottom is split a 1/3 of the way. Please look at all the pictures I've provided to see more details. 

Vinyl -- Good++ (I want to say VG--, but I want to be conservative) due to several surface scratches on both sides. While they are there, I'm telling y'all that when played on my player there were zero skips and very little background noise (I would say both sides played the same)!! When I did hear some, it was some soft crackling here and there and an occasional pop in between songs. The labels are in nice shape. They do show some needle/spindle marks (more on Side 2), but they weren't that visible until I got it under the light. 

Comes with (original?) black generic Decca inner sleeve (see picture).   

I am very aware that condition is everything, so I'm starting this record off at $179.99 due to it's condition! I think it's worth more than that, but this would be 12% of the listed value, and I believe that's a fair starting point for this record in this condition! Ignore my low feedback. I've been selling records on eBay for the last 2 years. I was selling them through my wife's store, but we had different views on what should be in the store and what shouldn't be. So, I'm starting over. Trust me, I love and respect vinyl.
