Description

BUDDY HOLLY (US CORAL, CRL 57210, 1959)

Here we have a nice copy of the incredibly rare first pressing of his legendary debut on the original MAROON CORAL label! These first pressings were only available for a short while and just never turn up (in any condition) This is the very first pressing with the picture of Buddy wearing NO GLASSES on the sleeve, this was quickly withdrawn and replaced with the more familiar 'glasses' image. This was the only album that was issued while Buddy was alive. This is seriously rare. Don't miss out!

I also have the rare first maroon pressing of his 'Story Vol II' album, take a look!

Vinyl is in VG condition : has light surface marks but plays very well with some light surface noise, does not jump! Valley Of Tears has a mark that clicks quietly for about 30 seconds, I am being very strict here
Sleeve is in VG condition : has general light ringwear, spine is slightly worn, the majority of the text on it has worn away, approx. 3" of the spine paper is missing, approx. 5" of the top and bottom seams are split, again I am being very strict
Company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition : looks great, has browned around the edges slightly with age, approx. 3" of the left side is split, top opening slightly worn
