Description
SCARCE original fist pressing, styrene black label disc, textured cover, original inner... GREAT DEBUT LP FOR BUDDY HOLLY AND THE RAREST OF ORIGINAL VERSIONS. VG/- disc play tested has some groove wear and hairlines, as a delicate styrene LP from the 50's will have, very few audible ticks, but some distortion and groove burn audible in places, very nice gloss overall and clean labels with some spindling. The program is overall enjoyable on my mono system with a spherical needle. Jacket in VG/+ with small name on rear, light yellowing and upper seam split 2" near the opening, stock inner.

All conditions and issues are in the AD TITLE, the first rating is the vinyl, the second is the jacket, unless there is one which will be a conservative overall rating. 10 records or more gets free shipping in the US. The New Ebay seller ratings: (These thingy's ) are a problem for many good sellers and many of my friends are no longer on here because they were snuffed out accidentally from nice people who unintentionally leave bad reviews BECAUSE anything less than a 5 can get your favorite seller removed! And I'm pretty sure I'm not perfect all of the time! The policies on Ebay actually make it possible for ONE person to ruin a seller's rating and have them removed (even if they have a zillion feedback points!)... kind of scary! Thanks so much for checking these auctions out, I feel a kinship with every person who buys from me, because I only sell music that I love... and I love my job! WE DIG THE DEEPEST!
PROMOS: They're usually pressed first and sound the best, often using special vinyl stock and, instead of styrene stock copies, are usually from pure thick vinyl! PROMOS SOUND BETTER! Also, imports from Germany, the UK, Japan and the Dutch, are usually superior pressings to stock US pressings... I will sometime use the word "audiophile" to describe these and other special pressings... before the MFSL, natilus and HSM audiophile pressings, the word was used to describe exceptional mastering and the best pressings of a certain disc. I search high and low for these excellent pressings, mastered by legendary engineers and mastering labs. I play test many of the records I sell and try to clean and archive them, when time allows.
