Description

Buddy Rich & Mel Torme Together Again For The First Time with The Buddy Rich Band (CCRD-1100) Century Records Direct To Disc, First Pressing Limited Edition. Brand New, Never Been Played.  Very Rare and Special Edition, out of print album for over 35 years. I am the original owner of this album and a private collector, not a record dealer. This album has been in my possession since purchase and it is stored in a smoke free environment.

The album cover was removed from the protective outer sleeve so that it could be autographed by Mel Torme. I purchase several copies of this album from Sound Plus Stereo Shoppe in Jenkintown, PA. Mel Torme (not Buddy, I could only wish) was in the store for a special private performance co-sponsored by Yamaha Musical Instruments and Yamaha Audio Equipment.

FYI. *This is not the autographed copy of the album. Mel Torme never signed this copy.*

Special guest appearance on the album by Phil Woods.

This is a great album to add to your ready to play album collection if nothing more than for the sheer sonic impact of listening to a direct to disc recording of Buddy Rich and Mel Torme with the Buddy Rich Band and Phil Woods.

This ultra dynamic direct to disc album was the very first album release by Century Records.
