Description
Dark red label with silver text, deep groove, mono. Identified as Prestige Swingville on both labels with the address, 203 W. Washington Ave, Bergenfield, N.J.. Leader, Buddy Tate, tenor sax; Pat Jenkins, trumpet Ben Richardson, alto and baritone sax, clarinet; Eli Robinson, trombone; Sadik Hakim, piano; Wendell Marshall, bass; Osie Johnson, drums. The initials, "RVG" for engineer Rudy Van Gelder appear in the dead wax on both sides of the record. The identication with Prestige Records with the above address is at the bottom of the back cover.
Cover: VG+ 2" split on the top edge at the insert edge with a crease on the corner of the split edge. The balance of the cover is intact with minor aging on the back cover. Fine overall condition.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Possibly played only 1 or 2 times with care. No markings on the vinyl surface. Side A, Tracks 1 and 2, have 2 very light clicks, barely audible. Track 3 has 1 light click, also, barely audible. On Side B, 1 light click on Tracks 1 and 2, also, very faint, barely audible. Fine, collectable quality. Audibly checked
