On offer here is a VERY rare EP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Buddy Holly called "Buddy Holly No. 2" EP and is an ORIGINAL 1959 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press TRI CENTRED Brunswick label!!!! THIS EP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS BUDDY HOLLY'S RAREST UK EP EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! THIS EP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK IN LATE 1959 - JUST BEFORE BRUNSWICK WERE PHASING OUT THEIR 'TRI CENTRED' LABELS FOREVER - AND REPLACING THEM WITH THE COMMON 'ROUND CENTRES' THAT FOLLOWED. AS A RESULT, ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY WERE EVER MADE WITH ULTRA RARE 'TRI-CENTRED' LABELS, AND TODAY THEY ARE SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! EVEN THE LATER 'ROUND CENTRED' VERSIONS OF THIS EP ARENT EXACTLY EASY TO FIND - BUT FINDING THIS EP AS A 100% GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH AN ULTRA RARE 'TRI CENTRED' LABEL IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS EP IS IN GREAT CONDITION MINUS A BEND ON THE CORNER.TOP LEFT THE RECORD( Sleeve is a example illustration and not of the sleeve i have although is almost identical in condition .... the image of the actual record is true and real my camera played up second image wise.. but the sleeve is 90 percent and record 97 percent but both fantastic condition considering its age.the record itself i would say its near mint..I CANNOT FIND ANY FLAWS IN IT AND PLAYS LIkr A DREAM.HIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1959 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TRI-CENTED' BRUNSWICK LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1C/1C MATRIXES, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER (WITH 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS THIS EP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Brunswick UK 1st Pressing from 1959 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! HAS 7/59 ON THE BACK CORNER The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is OE 9457 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Brunswick label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! i draw using paint on my pc softwar in black on the sleeve only to show where the bend is but its flat and not bending out ... its nothing serious in the slightest.need to go close to reconise it sooner mention that.
The record labels are in absolutely SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 50s EPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light TINY scufflines, THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!
