Budgie - Squawk
(MCA MKPS 2023 UK LP 1972)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve & comes with its original polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & blue "MCA" labels. It has 1st press -1L/ -1L matrix stampers.
A genuine UK 1st pressing of this classic UK Hard Rock Prog LP. These are not that common.
Sleeve: There is some mild rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the top edge. There is some light or mild ringwear. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. VG+ condition
Vinyl: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 4 small hairline marks. These measure from 0.5 cm to 2 cm in length. VG condition. The labels are in near excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG++ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in many places. One of the small marks causes some light clicks at the very end of the 2nd track on Side 1, & into the 3rd track on Side 1. It is not very obtrusive & doesn't last too long. Otherwise, there is some light or very light crackle in a few quieter places.
