Up for auction is a rare 12" from the Budweiser Showdown series showcasing small, local/regional soul/r&b acts and sent to various urban market radio stations in the United States for an eventual contest where the winner was picked by the listening audience and given a chance to have a label deal with Polygram records.

This one features the artist Kitten & The Cats doing 'Stay with Me' a nice, upbeat dance number with female diva vocals and boogie styled synth groove.

B-Side features a radio station montage from station Power 99 FM in Philadelphia.

12" was released in 1987 as BS-503.

vinyl is NM, looks unplayed

sleeve has some damaged on one side, lots of creasing and maybe water damage, light staining

RECORD GRADING:

NM (Near Mint): Like new, looks unplayed.

VG++: A few very faint surface marks, nothing that will affect play

VG+: A few more marks than a VG++, nothing that will affect play

VG: Light scuffs and light scratches, there will be light surface wear to the record. Expect some light surface noise in parts or a few clicks or pops here and there.

VG-: The record may have some scatches that will be deep enough to feel. Audible clicks and pops may be consistently present, but no skips.

G: A record that has been played and not taken care of. Constant background noise will be present. Buyer should view records with this grade as filler copies. I will not list a record in this condition unless it is truly rare.
