Description
Up for auction is a sealed NOS ("new old stock") copy of the 1st pressing of the indisputably great Buena Vista Social Club album. (A top 500 album per Rolling Stone.) Produced (and truly made possible) by genius and ace of the fretboard Ry Cooder, this is a double, 33 1/3 speed, album set. This music was first available in the US in 1997, but only on CD. In 1998 the vinyl version was released in the US by Nonsuch Records, with the vinyl manufactured by Classic Records. You will see these specific credits in two pics of the back of the album jacket near the bottom. And yes, being made by Classic Records, the end results sound pretty awesome!
