Description
30th Anniversary of this NWOBHM release!
This auction is for a 7 Inch vinyl single from 1981 by NWOBHM band Buffalo. Battle Torn Heroes b/w Women of the Night on Heavy Metal Records (Heavy 3). Recorded at Cargo Studios, Rochdale, England.
Disc is in Good condition for its age - but was a very cheap pressing. As originally delivered It has a mirrored scuff on both sides, but this does not affect the playing and is not audible. Also as delivered, It has what looks like chips on the rim - these are cosmetic only. Please see pictures. As original's pressing, there is no centre hole (juke box style) - and I have no spare adapter for this disc - so please note that no adapter is supplied. The sleeve is also Good for its age, but with some creases and a slight tear on the open edge. There is staining on the back - probable from being in contact with other discs when originally packaged - as it is the same colour as the front design - please see picture. These early Heavy Metal Records singles were not high quality issues. Despite the shortcomings of the pressing and sleeve, this is a good example of this disc - I just wanted to be honest to avoid disappointment.
From a personal collection.
NB If you are overseas and interested in the item, please get in touch about the postage rate to your area - for example it looks like about £10 to USA and £6 to EU.
Cheers.
