Buffalo Springfield Last Time Around UK ACTO 1st pressing 228 024
Investment quality pressing of this classic lp.
Matrices 228 024 A2 and B2
The record is in near mint condition. It is flat and very clean and shiny: indeed it looks almost like new. There are some very faint wispy marks that are barely visible even under bright light and these make no contribution to the sound which is superb throughout. Other than this the lp is flawless: indeed it looks like new. There are a few spindle marks indicating that the lp has been played but not very often. There is some barely audible crackle in the run ins but absolutely no distortion to the sound at all. There are, of course, no nasty pops, and absolutely no skips or jumps.
The labels are in excellent condition. They are completely free from writing, tears, marks and stickers.
The cover is in excellent condition which is rare fior this flimsy cover. Usually it is prone to dog ears and feathering neither of which apply to this example. There is some very light wear to the edges and one crease at the spine but nothing of any note. This is a very nice example of this sleeve.
This is a copy that I am sure would satisfy even the most exacting of collectors. The lp itself is close to flawless and the cover is almost as good. It will be very difficult to find a better copy. Happy bidding.
