Grading system: Standard for 78 record collectors. If anything is unclear or unfamiliar please contact us with your questions. We will never knowingly or deliberately give false information to deceive or mislead you but when it comes to collectors there can be a difference of opinion regarding quality. One person’s E- may look like an V+ to someone else.

All records are vintage (USED). They have been played and anything that is  60- 90 years old will NOT be in pristine, new condition. E level records will show some light wear & scratches. V level records will NOT be in great condition – they still play but have many scratches. 78’s of any condition will have some surface noise (SH) and in any grade below E it you must expect it.

N or M = New or mint sealed never been played.

N- = Record shows no scratches, scuffs or wear, plays like new.

E+ = Record shows light scratches, scuffs or wear, which should NOT be audible when played.

E- = Record shows light scratches, scuffs or wear, which MAY be audible when played.

V+ = Record shows moderate scratches, scuffs or wear that WILL be audibly noticeable.

V- = Record shows considerable scratches, scuffs or wear that WILL be audibly noticeable. Good for fill-in until better copy turns up

P = What can I say! Record is in poor condition, plays very rough. We will offer for auction items in P condition only when they are unusual or rare.

SN = Surface noise

HC = Hairline crack

WOL = Writing on label

SOL= Sticker on label

CC = Cracked center

Payment: Payment is required within 5 days of invoice. If bidding on multiple we will wait until your last auction is complete to invoice you. If payment is not received within the specified time frame, your bid will be canceled and the item offered for second chance sale.

Shipping:  Records are packed in sturdy boxes with foam and/or bubble wrap. Handling charges include the costs for boxes, bubble wrap, Styrofoam packing and labeling materials that we must purchase to protect your record..

We ship all items insured for full purchase price with Delivery Confirmation/Tracking. If it arrives damaged you must notify us within 7 days of receipt to initiate a claim. After that no damage claims will be accepted and damaged items will not be eligible for returns.

If you bid on and are the winner of multiple items we will combine postage.

Return policy: We have listed a no returns policy on Ebay however we MAY make exceptions. You must contact us within 10 days of receipt with your concerns. After that there will be no returns or refunds, no exceptions. We will not refund shipping to or from you unless we sent you the wrong record entirely. Items must be returned in their original condition, original box with all original packing materials. We will pay to insure our authorized returns but require proof that insurance has been purchased be included in the return shipment. All refunds and communication must go through Ebay’s authorized format. We follow Ebay policy, there will be no back door deals.
