Sea Change 2002 2x LP sleeve: VG+/NM vinyl: NM/Mint
The holy grail for serious Beck fans and vinyl collectors alike. I assume in 2002, all GEFFEN wanted from Beck was an Odelay 2, and were pretty confused/dissaponted when instead the got Beck singing depressing orchestral chamber music with a distinct lack of quirky white boy trip-hop beats. So they pressed like 50 of these and called it a day. Ironically, the Sea Change was an undeniable masterpiece, and is now widely considered one of the finest albums ever made. Silly Geffen.

Morning Phase 2014 180 gram Audiophile Pressing sleeve: NM vinyl: NM
Intended as the spiritual follow up to Sea Change, Morning Phase nothing short of a Masterwork of Sonic Art. Cathardic and profound, it's an album that greatly benefits from being heard on vinyl, and ideally through some great headphones. (I recommend studio monitor style, myself.) Richly atmospheric and complex, the music transcends genre. Genuine in it's timeless quality, the album I'll much like its predecessor, duefully rewards active listening and repeated playback.
