I clean each vinyl record and I carefully grade vinyl and covers visually under a bright light. I play test all records I visually grade VG- or below and provide notes with vinyl condition. I presume all records I grade VG or above will track with no skips and will have typical background noise in quiet spots.

I ship LPs securely in a sturdy cardboard record mailer to protect them during shipment.

All records are original pressings unless otherwise noted.

Vinyl Condition: G+ (side 1)/VG- (side 2)

NO SKIPS. Light background noise, plays a bit better than visual grade side 1.

Cover Condition:  Worn. Color loss, moisture damage at bottom left front cover, waviness/paper lifting, corner wear, edge wear and discoloration back cover. 

Inner Sleeve:  No splits, discoloration an creasing.

Alice Cooper LACE AND WHISKEY LP w/Merch Insert 1977 Warner Bros. G+/VG+ Played (BSK 3027)   

Vinyl Condition: G+ (side 1 -- 1 mark across side 1 surface can be lightly felt -- see picture)/VG+ (side 2)

NO SKIPS. Mark across side 1 causes a light pop at end of side 1, last song. Otherwise, the mark has no noticeable effect on playback. Light background noise in quiet spots. Side 1 plays better than visual grade. 

Cover Condition:  VG Saw cut at upper right, corner wear, edge wear, couple of light creases and light discoloration. 

Inner Sleeve:  Original picture sleeve splits at both sides and bottom.

The Beach Boys IN CONCERT x2 LP 1973 Brother/Reprise VG/VG+ (2RS6484)   

Vinyl Condition: VG (sides 1 and 4)/VG+ (sides 2 and 3) Light sleeve scuffs.

Cover Condition:  VG- Ring wear, corner wear, edge wear and some edge creases. 

Inner Sleeve:  No splits.

Inner Sleeve:  No splits, light creasing.

Blondie AUTOAMERICAN LP 1980 Chrysalis VG+ or Better (CHE 1290)   

Vinyl Condition: VG+ (side 2 a bit better).  

Cover Condition:  VG Corner wear, edge wear, light ring wear, sticker at upper right front cover. 

Inner Sleeve:  Original with small bottom split. 

Pat Benatar CRIMES OF PASSION LP 1980 Chrysalis Record Club Edition VG (CHE 1275)   

Vinyl Condition: VG 

Cover Condition:  VG Small spot of color loss at lower right front cover, corner wear, light ring wear, edge wear and some creases. 

Inner Sleeve:  No splits.

Pat Benatar SEVEN THE HARD WAY LP 1985 Chrysalis VG+/VG++ (OV 41507)   

Vinyl Condition: VG+ (side 1)/VG++ (side 2)

Cover Condition:  VG or a bit better with creasing at upper right corner, light corner wear. 

Inner Sleeve:  Original picture sleeve with splits at both sides and bottom.

Visual Grading Scale for Vinyl:

M: Still sealed, unopened.

NM: No visible flaws on vinyl. Vinyl looks unplayed. I rarely use this grade.

VG++: Only a couple light barely noticeable paper scuffs/superficial hairline marks on vinyl that should not affect play. Vinyl looks barely played and handled carefully.

VG+: A few light noticeable paper scuffs/superficial hairline marks/fingernail marks or light scratches that should not affect play.

VG: A few more widespread noticeable light marks/scuffs/fingernail marks or light scratches on vinyl surface, but marks cannot be felt and there might be some light background noise/light pop in quiet spots.

VG-: I play test any record at this grade. There will be more noticeable light marks and/or light scratches than the other VG grades and some marks might be lightly felt but will NOT cause a skip during playback, along with light background noise in quiet spots/light pop(s). Please see play test notes for details. 

G+, G, G-: I play test any record at any interval of this grade (interval used to signify varying degree of imperfections). Widespread imperfections will be visible on the vinyl under normal light, including scuffs, fingernail marks and scratches. Some marks can be felt but will NOT cause a skip during playback. There likely will be background noise in quiet spots and in places and pops during playback. Please see play test notes for details.

Fair: I play test any record at this grade. Widespread scratching visible on the vinyl surface under normal light (some marks can be felt) but will NOT cause a skip during playback. There will be audible background noise and pops/static throughout playback. Please see play test notes for details.
