- E+ First class copy with only a few signs of handling, such as tiny insignificant scuffs.
- E Still very shiny, near-new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few very light scuffs and scratches.
- E- Lacks the lustre of a new record, few light scratches. Maybe a hint of wear.
- V+ is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Some surface noise but not overly pronounced.
- V Moderate, even wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
- V- Playable, but distortion in loud passages. Significant surface noise and scratches
- P is a Poor copy. Not quite a "wall hanger", but you will want to find a better copy!
