Description

Up for auction is the 1965 St John's High School yearbook from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. What is significant about it is that there is a student photo on page 44 of Burton Cummings. He would have just joined the Guess Who during that year. The book is a square and solid copy with bumps on the top corners of the covers and there is some light wear and some light soiling on the covers. The first inside page has a crease on it, but the rest of the interior is clean and unmarked. The scans show a section of page 44 with Burton Cummings' photo, the front cover, and the back cover. Very uncommon item., likely only a couple of hundred copies were ever printed, and these rarely come up for sale. A must for the Guess Who, Cummings collector or for those interested in Winnipeg's early rock history. The book weighs between 500 grams and 1 kilogram, which is the reason for the postage charge, which will be air mail for locations outside of Canada.
