Description

Busty Brown – ‘Aware Of Love’ / ‘Hard Way To Go’ – Clocktower CT 651 (US)

 

Produced by Lee Perry, Busty Brown’s immaculate version of Jerry Butler and Curtis Mayfield’s ‘Aware of Love’ (originally released by Butler in 1960) needs no introduction. Hard to find in any format, this is the US Clocktower pressing with proper yellow labels: matrix numbers CT 651-A and CT 651-B, respectively. Top copy, don’t miss it!    

Condition: Excellent; there are some bubbles in the vinyl, but they are virtually inaudible; apart from that, a little dust, that’s all (please listen to the clips). Clean labels (please see scans).

Shipping 2-3 albums (or 2-3 12-inch records): $24.00 within Europe, $28.50 to the rest of the world. Registered and insured shipping (with a tracking number) is an additional US $11.00 per parcel to cover a total value not exceeding $80.00. The surcharge is US $16.00 for a total value of up to $1,550.00 (which is the maximum). Please get in touch for further combined shipping rates.

Shipping from Sweden is expensive – though the rest of the world is surely catching up – not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.

American bidders, kindly note that shipping to the US is not US $4.00; this is eBay’s default setting and not applicable as I am based in Sweden. Please use the postage rates above, or wait for my invoice. Thank you!  

Please note that like many other sellers of reggae on eBay, I’ve been the victim of so called ‘fake bidders’, bad minded people with no intention of purchasing the item they bid on and whose only game seems to be to ruin the auction for buyers and sellers alike.
