Vintage RARE historic American music lp: THE BUTTE, MONTANA, WORLD MUSEUM OF MINING presents the SEEBURG STYLE "H" SOLO ORCHESTRION ORGAN in concert; released by Kessler Recording Service (Billings, MT); no date but circa the early 1970's; the liner notes discuss the amazing mechanical instrument (a 1913 model), the museum and some local mining history; includes 19 tracks, with 19th Century traditionals, folk songs, holiday music, and fox trots (Way Down Yonder in New Orleans, Black Man, Barney Google, Sweet Georgia Brown, Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer, Stars and Stripes, I Don't Let No One Man Worry Me, and more).

One of these organs sold for $138,000 at Sotheby's, so I thought I'd include their description here: "Considered by most collectors to be the most ornate orchestrion made in America, the Seeburg Style H features ten art glass panels, three hanging art glass lamps and two carved statues named "Strength" and "Beauty" holding up the massive overhanging arched top. Instrumentation includes piano with automatic expression, pipe solo capability and mandolin attachment; 34 violin and 34 flute pipes, xylophone, bass drum with tympani effect, snare drum, cymbal, triangle and castanets. Fewer than four dozen original Seeburg H orchestrions are known to exist today."

Condition is VG+/VG+ (vinyl is still glossy but has some scuffing and hairlines and one 1-inch scratch that causes some light ticks; clean labels; jacket has edge and corner rubbing, 2" split to top seam, small spot to back cover).
