Description

Okeh 8163, vocal Jazz/Blues, probably early 20's.  Rare race record by Butterbeans (Jodie Edwards) and Susie (Susie Edwards nee Hawthorne).  This record is one of the more SCARCE by these two.  Both sides start out with quite a bit of noise (sizzle) which rapidly diminishes.  Some pops from scratch, does not skip or stick, has some noise all the way through but definitely plays loud & strong & clear enough to hear words & music.  G+ on appearance and after start VG on music.   Inv. #77, 5/17.
