Description
From my personal vinyl record collection bought throughout the 1970s, unplayed since the early 1980s until now. Rare edition reissue pressing of the Buzzcocks with Howard Devoto 'Spiral Scratch', One of the first D.I.Y. releases, the Buzzcocks sold around 16,000 copies of the original EP on their own label before signing to the major label United Artists. This EP was briefly deleted before being reissued 2 years later, this is the 'Porky Master' reissue version, again with the same catalogue number, but with the added credit 'With Howard Devoto' to the sleeve front. This issue ended up hitting the charts over two years after the original first release.
This being the 'Porky Master' and not the 'Lyntone Press' version, copies had 'A porky prime cut' etched into the run-off groove on side A, and 'Porky' etched into the run-off groove on side B (like this copy)
This is a 7" 45 rpm reissue 1979 pressing Vinyl' EP with (Tracks 1.) Breakdown/Time's Up (Tracks 2.) Boredom/Friends Of Mine; All recorded (LIVE) at Indigo Sound Studio in Manchester, Dec 28th 1976 on 16 Track. Cover sleeve is in excellent condition with minimal ring marking on the reverse side. Vinyl output play is very good, with both sides playing well with normal minor crackle and little sign of wear. Vinyl material is in excellent condition, the vinyl labels on both sides are looking good, just with 2 small smudge marks on side A (label) and a minor crease on side B (label)
