Hello and welcome to the auction.Listing for a client this old or bygone seven inch single, with paper sleeve, which is The National Anthem of Sierra Leone, Government of Sierra Leone on "Phillips-West African-Records", Made in Holland.Side 1 states : Band of the Sierra Leone Police Force.T.A.Konteh A.R.C.M. Dir.of Music and Side 2 states The Cocelian Singers, Logie Wright, Conductor. The sleeve says : The music that makes you happy'.The record and sleeve come with a stiff brown cardboard cover which shows scuffing and paper remains to the surface. An unusual record I would think.
The condition of the record looks to be excellent. There is a small uneven edge to one outer edge but on inspection under a magnifying glass looks to be only the way that the vinyl was made originally.Side two shows looks to show slight wear to some letters of the silver coloured text. The paper sleeve shows some scattered age fading.
