STORMIN' SOPHOMORE release from this highly regarded heavy blues boogie four piece. Their debut album certainly cracked a few heads and this one goes further into the world of crushing 12 bar biltzkreig rock. If you really want to know the definition of smash your head against the the wall power rock then look no further - its about as primal as you'll get this side of Mountain, Foghat or ZZ Top.

Having said all that there are signs of sophistication on this record - especially side two which mines a deeper furrow than what might be expected. 'Song For Aries' and the title track ouzes class whilst 'Honetown Bust' goes for the throat. Side one kicks major butt culmulating with the awesome 'Big Mama Boogie Parts 1 &2', predating ZZ Top's 'La Grange' by several years.

Clearly one of the greatest hard rock bands of the seventies. Every home should be kitted out with their entire cataolque, they are that essential.

Vinyl: Super clean and shiny condition. A few spindle marks on labels but no other signs of use. Grades as top, almost shop fresh, MINT-!

Cover: Virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover. Sharp corners (one slightly rubbed), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff and straight if a little flattened. Grades as a strong Ex+
