This record is in FANTASTIC TRUE PRISTINE MINT condition! [The cover looks EXCELLENT with a 1-inch seam split on the spine! RECORD HISTORY: Along with PEREZ PRADO, CAL TJADER is probably the best known, and most successful of the celebrated MAMBO and LATIN JAZZ MASTERS! This was a follow-up record to his hugely successful 1956 release "Ritmo Caliente!" Unlike PRADO with his orchestras, CAL TJADER worked mostly in the smaller QUINTET setting. But here he has expanded his combo and is accompanied by WILLIE BOBO, AL McKIBBON, RAMON "MONGO" SANTAMARIA, LUIS KENT, JERRY SANFINO, JOSE "CHAMBO" SILVA, BOBBY RODRIGUEZ and ARMANDO PERAZA! The beginnings of ring wear will be evident on the cover and some surface scuffs will appear on the vinyl, BUT record will play with no background noise. VG++: use is evident but not bad. Cover has ring wear and vinyl has noticeable surface wear. Should play with NO surface noise during the music. VG+: average used record, looks OK, plays OK. No surface noise is noticeable during the music. Some surface noise is possible during quiet passages. VG: Cover shows more than normal wear and vinyl shows more than normal wear.
