Description

Three LPs (five sides) each in its individual jacket (see picture) on the COLUMBIA Dark Blue/Gold Letters Label, made in England, nos. 33 CXS 1289,33CX 1290 & 33CX 1291. Rossini's "IL TURCO IN ITALIA". Maria Callas, Nicolai Gedda, Nicola Rossi-Lemeni, Piero De Palma, Mariano Stabile. Orchestra & Chorus of La Scala di Milano conducted by Gianandrea Gavazzeni. This set comes with a 34-page booklet containing the original Italian libretto and the English translation. The absence of any marks around the spindle holes suggests that the records may have never been played and in fact they look mint. The individual jackets are in reasonably good condition despite their age. A 2 ½ " slit in front of LP 1289's jacket is taped by invisible tape. Payment by cash or international money order.
