CAMPBELL'S SOUP MARKETING 10" LP Bob Swanson Doc Severinsen CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR
This 10-inch LP, MY CUP OF SOUP IS YOU, with six songs sung by Pat Kirby and Bob Haymes accompanied by Bob Swanson and and all-star orchestra including Doc Severinsen, Kai Winding, Ernie Royal, Will Bradley, Al Klink, Jerome Richardson and Milt Hilton, was released as a private pressing by Robert Swanson Productions (RSP-42, recorded in 1964). This is a different release -- the same contents, with RSP-42 etched in the wax, and the same insert listing the songs, personnel and bios -- with a different cover and label produced by the Campbell Soup Company for an Annual Marketing Meeting, wishing particpants a Merry Christmas and a "S.O.U.P.er" New Year! from Campbell execs Harry Tanner and Bill MacFarland.

Record VG+. Jacket is split and water-stained, G+. Insert is intact, slightly wrinkled in one corner.
LPs and 45s are graded M (mint), NM (near mint), VG+, VG (very good), VG-, G+, G (good), G-, F (fair), and P (poor). A VG+ record may have some visible scuffs and light scratches and plays well with little surface noise. Scratches on records graded VG and VG- may be deep enough to feel with your fingernail, or there may be scratches throughout that cause surface noise. On records in the G+, G and G- range the level of the music is still above the surface noise caused by scuffs and scratches. Surface noise is as loud as the music on records graded F and louder than the music on P records.
Jackets graded VG+ have only slight wear; jackets graded VG are more worn but still intact unless defects are noted. G jackets show definite damage and F and P jackets are probably falling apart. Splits, markings, cut corners, and other defects will be noted.
