VITAMIN C / I'M SO GREEN / SHIKAKO MARU TEN / SPOON ... 2 x 7-inch, 45rpm single (double pack) by CAN. Original German pressing on the UNITED ARTISTS label (UA 35804 A), from 1972. Inspired, double 7-inch release by the experimental Krautrock group. Desirable for their visionary brand of organic cum improvised stoned rock with edgy drum patterns / hip hop beats / exotic percussion / enchanting chord changes / odd synthesizers / tape manipulation / vocal mantras and filtered dub sounds. Features 3 killer themes from their Ege Bamyasi Lp masterpiece, including the leftfield funk and avant B-boy drum riddims of VITAMIN C and I'M SO GREEN. The exotic SHIKAKO MARU TEN has yet another surprisingly contemporary and spellbinding arrangement with motorik rhythms / indie attitude and trippy vocal incantations ;) The spaced-out syncopated funky groove / garage-esque and hipster synth-pop ambience of SPOON finishes off our soundclip. Great for DJs. Tres trendy mood music with booming production sound. The 7-inch version of I'M SO GREEN on this release seems to have a different intro compared to the Lp version. All trax recorded at their legendary Inner Space Studio. Cool inner gatefold artwork showing a publicity shot of this underground group too. Rare EP!!!

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG+ condition with some hairlines / faint scuffs / old pressing marks. Some light surface noises. Booming production sound. A few soft pops / soft ticks (as you can hear on the soundclip). The soft card gatefold picture sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with some corner and edge wear. Old crease / fold line from storage below front top right corner area. Some ring creasing. A touch of ink fading / ink bleeding in places. Rare EP!!!
