THE CAN - Monster Movie LP (UK UNITED ARTISTS, UAS 29094, 1969)
Mega rare earliest UK 1st UK pressing from 1969 (on beautiful and very seldom seen burgundy label) with matrixes: UAS 29094 A-1 & UAS 29094 B-1. Beside Music Factory German original (worth 4000 euro) this is the best edition of that legendary title. If you want Monster Movie as very 1st pressing, then you need this one or impossible to find MF German press. The sound is awesome & very dynamic - much better and clearer than black Liberty German 2nd press from 1970. Most probably the same master tape was used as on Music Factory priceless original.
Cover: EX- Very solid cover with minor imperfections. Laminated front is very shiny with 2 creases on corners, a few wrinkles along the edges and some 4-5 halfmoons. All edges and spine are perfect. Matt, black back does have some light wears, but no ringwear and no creases.
Record: M- The only, minimal flaw is one, light, surface mark (rather thin scuff) which do nothing at all. The sound is absolutely perfect!
Labels: M(-) Both orange/burgundy labels are in pristine shape - without single spindle mark! Top!
