Description
Here is a rare UK first press of Soundtracks by The Can on United Artists vinyl from 1970.
The first press disc with A1/B1 matrices and unblemished labels is in strong VG condition with light surface and sleeve withdrawal marks showing but certainly no feelable scratches of any kind.
The gorgeous front laminated sleeve is a strong VG+ example with no tears, repairs or unwanted writing and nothing untoward to report apart from a minor one-inch arc graze to the laminate near the bottom left and a little cornerwear; the unlaminated rear of the sleeve is also excellent with no unwanted writing, tears, repairs or damage of any kind but just a few light ageing spots. And what a clever cover this is with the strips of film showing the band recording their soundtracks, the repetition of 'CAN' in bold 3D gold and the title itself - SOUNDTRACKS- in the most spindly typeface imaginable right at the BOTTOM of the sleeve! A work of art.
Good luck if you are bidding. Rest assured I carefully package all rare vinyl with discs removed from sleeves to eliminate the possibility of 'knifing' during transit.
