THE CANADIAN ROGUES-45-“Keep In Touch” b/w Ooh-Poo-Pa-Doo”-Palmer Records #P-5017-Advanced DJ Issue-KILLERKOOL & ULTRA 1966 Lakeland FLORIDA Garage-Punk…this record was produced by Texas Legend Major Bill Smith and also issued on the Texas-based Charay Records label causing confusion in the early 70’s collector’s circle, with some believing this is a Texas group/record…weird that this is on the Michigan-based Palmer label!! Anyway-this is a killer disc-“Keep In Touch” (actually the B-side) most of you know from assorted comps over the decades; if not, it’s a dynamite number-guitar dominated, pounding drums, guttural lead vocal and a killer fuzz lead guitar break-ONE MY FAVE LEADS-real powerhouse. The flip is a garage-punk rendition of the standard made popular by Ike & Tina…Great band and record….
Condition: Record is VG+ or better; almost, but not quite Mint-Minus; some very light surface scuffs visible on outer dead wax –visible in certain light angles…
