GENUINELY INCREDIBLY RARE..... HUGELY COLLECTABLE...
THE ORIGINAL 1968 VINYL PRIVATE LIMITED PRESSING ....
SERIAL NO. 002 SCHEISSHOUSE PRODUCTION of....
CANAXIS 5
(TECHNICAL SPACE COMPOSER'S CREW...HOLGER CZUKAY/ROLF DAMMERS)
This is one of only 500 original pressings in 1968 of one of the most sought after records of early Progressive/Experimental/Krautrock music. It is on the Music Factory label and produced by Scheisshouse Records, catalogue no. SRS 002. . NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH a later release on "Spoon Records" or "P-Vine Records" which were remastered and included different material. This ORIGINAL has "Ho-Mai-Nhi" on side 1, and "Shook Eyes Ammunition" on Side 2. One of only 500 pressed, of those that are left certainly most are in the hands of private, serious collectors, and hardly ever come on the market. Technical Space Composer's Crew comprised Holger Czukay, bass player with Can, and Rolf Dammers, a German engineer/artist. For a serious collector of this genre, Canaxis 5 is an absolute MUST, and is rightly regarded as one of THE RAREST vinyl records around.
The Vinyl is in excellent condition and it has to my knowledge only been played two or three times. The inner sleeve I believe is the original cellophane, and the label itself I would call Mint. The cover shows signs of its age [44 years!] with the edge of the record showing as an outline. There is a small yellowed mark on the top edge where a small piece of Sellotape was once attached, but no damage to indicate a reason why I placed it there. Apart from that there are some minor scuff marks but no writing, graffiti or defacement, and I would say it is in excellent condition considering it's age. Bought and owned by myself only.
I bought the record new and it has always been in my collection. Please feel free to email me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them. I have set the opening bid at a sensible entry level as this record is so genuinely rare, but....
GOOD LUCK and HAPPY BIDDING
