CANDLEMASS Epicus Doomicus Metallicus PROMO lp vinyl 1st press Black Dragon 1986 TOP
BD 013, first press promotional release sent to journalists and magazines at the time. It comes with a promotional insert with band members biographies and notes, handwritten and photocopied on with CANDLEMASS logo letterhead paper. I think this is an unique oppurtunity to have a really collectible piece, unlikely to find another soon. Leif Edling favourite album? 1st Angelwitch and 1st Trouble....more interesting curiosities.
The VINYL appears Mint-, it was perhaps played once and stored in the archive of the magazine. It is absolutely clean and glossy, grooves are as pristine as they just came from Black Dragon. There are very few and barely visible surface hairlines, for this reason i am not grading as a full Mint. LABELS are clean and Mint. The COVER is VG+ only, beautiful and nmint front back glossy artworks, spines and corners super but there is unfortunately a seam split on top spine. There two small (catalogue? Distribution? Storage?) tags on back cover top corner. The INNER also has two seam splits. I am keeping the original promo pack as it is, without changing the cover and the inner with better ones which i have. The promotional INSERT is nearly mint too.

Grading is mainly visual and quite conservative. Records are scrutinized during the day, first under direct sunlight and then under direct led-bulb light. I always try to avoid to over-grade records. I play the record any time I like it or any time a scuff is perceptible to the touch (with vinyls) and then I report in the notes about the result.
Packaging. I use professional strong card board envelops designed for vinyls or cds when packing your records. I add further protection tools, like stiffeners and pluriball. I separate vinyls from covers and vinyls from inner sleeves when they are not white generic, to avoid seam splits. Upon request, I can send Cds without the case.
Payments: as per e-bay rules within 4 days maximum from the auction's end, otherwise a report for non paid item will be filed in order to re-sale the item after additional 4 days.
SHIPPING COSTS and SERVICES
Note: I am normally able to pack and send all records sold within 1 day maximum. For all payments received by 10.00 a.m. CET the parcel is handed over to the courier the same day. For those received after 10.00 a.m. CET the parcel will be taken in charge by the courier the day after. The couriers pick-up service is scheduled each working day around 12 a.m. CET.
Buyers from outside Italy please do have a look at the different services, prices and estimated delivery time. Choose carefully between registered and normal economy. Economy mail is pretty cheap but will take few days and does not have a tracking number!
