CANNED HEAT living the blues LIBERTY 2LPs gatefold Stereo Blue Labels A//1 to D//1 LDS 84001E!

 

Original UK double album LP with gatefold sleeve and both the original paper/poly lined record company inner sleeves, released in 1968 on the LIBERTY label. Catalogue number: LDS 84001E.

 

Matrix Numbers Read:

A-side: LDS 84001 A//1 420

B-side: LDS 84001 B//1 420

C-side: LDS 84001 C//1 420

D-side: LDS 84001 D//1 420

 

Sleeve: VERY GOOD CONDITION

Solid sleeve displays some record sleeve ring wear, some top/bottom/spine edge wear (whitened in places), and some light superficial sleeve creases (not heavy or through the sleeve, or deeply lined), middle sleeve appearance is VERY GOOD+. Sleeve has no rips/tears, no seem splits and no deep lined sleeve creases. Overall sleeve is graded as in VERY GOOD condition. Both original paper/poly lined record company inner sleeves are in VERY GOOD+ condition, some browning with age evident and some minor creases, but no rips or seem splits.

 

Records: NEAR MINT/NEAR MINT CONDITION (*Plays EXCELLENT+)

Record labels in NEAR MINT condition, clean with no damage, however the label on the B-side has a spot of whitening near the spindle edge hole (record was pressed/bought from new like this and is not spindle edge wear, a touch of spindle edge hole flashing is also evident), labels display some minor tiny faint spindle hole play marks, indicating barely played. Playing surfaces and matrix areas are in NEAR MINT condition, retaining their original full glossy sheen on both sides, displays a few tiny (minimal and almost negligible) ultra-light fine line surface scuffs which are only evident when angled and viewed very closely under a strong bright light. Both records graded visually as NEAR MINT. *Both records play EXCELLENT+ all sides, clean sound throughout with no loud background crackles or clicks. Downsizing my personal collection: Early Canned Heat double album record, bought from new, sleeve worn but records extremely well preserved and only played a few times.
