While the strong track "Bone of Contention" garnered a lot of attention in Canadian rock press and represented CANNON HEATH DOWN on the Last Call: Vancouver Independent Music 1977-1988 compilation, this album has so much more to offer, most of it actually superior to that track, especially the 2 amazing lead-off tracks: "Light Your Eyes" and "Julia Rainbow", both of which should be flatly impossible to achieve without the presence of MITCH EASTER - supreme, top-level jangle-pop of the highest order with everything in place (Mitch-like production and feel, perfect harmonies, bold yet sophisticated power-pop moves, sublime, consummate jangly guitars and simply brilliant songcraft).
...astonishing, but true, Mitch had nothing to do with this LP.
Original LYRICS / INFO insert is in EXCELLENT condition with some faint age-toning, otherwise Near Mint.?
