This is a MONO 200-gram, 4-EP box set (plays at 45 RPM) pressed on Classic Records' new Clarity Vinyl, the ultimate vinyl formula made up of more than 90% of the highest quality co-polymer available. In addition, Clarity Vinyl has no carbon black additive (carbon black contains trace metals that can become magnetized and create electrical distortions in the cartridge during playback). These distortions smear and muddy the sound. By taking out the carbon black and making the speed 45 RPM, Classic has brought more clarity to playback and provided higher fidelity. These are single-sided pressings which dramatically reduce mechanical resonances by allowing the turntable platter to more fully absorb them. Clarity Vinyl pressings are made to provide the lowest possible distortion in every aspect of LP play. Plus, they look super-cool (see photo)! This box set is NEW, factory SEALED and in perfect condition!
