Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INSANELY RARE original Rudy Van Gelder mastered BLP 1595 deep groove first pressing from May of 1958 on Blue Note's classic blue & white label in glorious mono with 63rd Street NYC address, "microgroove" and no circled R on the labels, no "Inc." on the rear cover or labels, RVG dead wax stamp on both sides, the number 9 and the letter M etched sideways in the dead wax, Plastylite "P" stamped in the dead wax on both sides but difficult to see and the address at the bottom of the rear cover in Serif font!!! LP is G visually but plays amazingly well with only moderate background noise, mostly during the quiet bits. Cover is just barely VG with a small 2" piece of thin transparent tape at the opening on the bottom and three small, thin, very light stains on the perimeter on the rear.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
