Cannonball Adderley Presents Soul Zodiac, written and narrated by Rick Holmes, Nat Adderley Sextet, produced by Cannonball Adderley and David Axelrod, Capitol SVBB-11025, mint sealed. Year of release is 1972. Personnel includes Nat Adderley on cornet, George Duke on electric piano, Walter Booker on bass, Roy McCurdy on drums, Ernie Watts who sits in for Cannonball Adderley on tenor and flute, and Mike Deasy on psychedelic guitar. Cannonball makes a brief appearance in Libra and Aries. Tracks include Introduction, Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Cancer, and Taurus. This is an absolutely sensational double LP. The style is a delightful combination of Jazz, Psyche, Rock, Soul, Electronics, and Astrology. This album is pristine mint sealed! There are two blocks of shrink wrap missing, but there is no wear on the parts of the jacket that are exposed. The larger block is in the upper right corner where perhaps there was a price sticker that was removed. There are breathe holes, and the shrink wrap is on rather tight. All edges and corners are sharp. There are no seam splits or corner crunches. The jacket underneath the shrink wrap appears to be perfect.
