Up for bids is a great, very rare, mono Jazz LP by Cannonball Adderley called "Somethin' Else". Blue Note Records. BLP 1595. 1958. Featuring Miles Davis.RARE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
"BLUE NOTE RECORDS ? 47 WEST 63rd ? NYC" ADDRESS ON BOTH LABELS!Both sides' Trail-Off's have the "ear" and stamped "RVG"!
NO "?" SYMBOL AT THE BOTTOM OF BOTH LABELS!
Front of cover is laminated.
"47 West 63rd Street, New York 23, N.Y." ADDRESS AT BOTTOM-CENTER ON BACK OF COVER.
Record's edges are raised.
Comes with old plastic sack inner sleeve.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is a STRONG VG+ to VG++ condition. Front is beautiful with some light wear and thumb prints. Back of cover has some wear, browning and a little staining in spots. Cover has a curve to it. All sides are completely intact! No splits anywhere on cover! Spine photo shows some print roll off. Strong and sturdy, this is still a prime example of this cover!
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG++. Looks gorgeous with only a couple of superficial marks that do not affect play. Some minor surface noise between tracks, but overall, not much wear at all! Side 1's label has some minor scratching but both are very clean. My scanner may have lightened them in the pictures a little. Record sounds so amazing on my player! GOD BLESS BLUE NOTE & VAN GELDER!
